School assignment

For school I was to write a commentary essay my topic that I chose was super bugs that are killing us off. The idea came to me to write from my personal point of view. Super bugs or Antibiotic / Antimicrobial resistant bacteria as the CDC calls them are microbes that resist the effects of drugs. The CDC goes on to tell us that simply using antibiotics creates resistance. There are other reasons that antibiotics aren’t good for us and for that I’ll tell my story. When I was a kid I had many health problems and was therefore put on antibiotics for most of my childhood when I turned 18 my teeth began to decay and fall out my dentist of the time asked me many questions among them was (Have you taken a lot of antibiotics as a kid?) which was when things finally became a forethought. Was I really been being kept healthy all this time? The answer to my question the dentist told me antibiotics eat away at the enamel that makes teeth strong. They also eat away at our bones making us more incline to brakes and fractures. So from the proverbial horse’s mouth we have the right answers that we should be asking.
